Business Appeal

In order to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Citizens Advice
Bureau service in the UK, we are shortly to be launching an Appeal
to local businesses. Would your company consider being part of our
long term strategy to develop our services?

Here are some reasons why we think our Bureau is beneficial to business

We act as an objective honest broker. Quite often if we are approached by your
customers our advice is that there is nothing to be gained by pursuing their
complaint. If they do have a justified concern then we advise them how to further
this in a constructive way. Our impartial information and advice service is to a
professional standard.

Referral to the Bureau can alleviate the staff absenteeism and underperformance
which is often rooted in personal problems, such as debt or separation.

Employers themselves seek advice on behalf of employees, or in respect of their
legal obligations

The Bureau trains and develops the skills of volunteers, thus equipping them for
a wide range of paid occupations. Each year we recruit and train over 80 such people.

We are a very familiar to the general public, with excellent brand recognition.
